It’s been an incredibly busy and successful summer for Inclusic, with the organisation delivering 4, week-long performance and song-writing courses for the young people of Wolverhampton!
Summer Rockschool
The ever popular Summer Rockschool project at Newhampton Arts Centre, was busier than ever with 2 full weeks of music making and fun, supported by professional musicians. As well as lots of games and fun, the young people taking part had the chance to try different instruments, develop their music skills and work together to learn their favourite songs to perform to an audience at the end of the week.
Both weeks were a roaring success and feedback from participants and parents alike has been excellent -

The Lockdown Songwriting club
As well as delivering the Summer Rockschool, Inclusic’s Lockdown Songwriting Club has also been in full swing in community centres across the city, giving young people the opportunity to write, record and perform their own songs, drawing inspiration from their experiences of Lockdown life.
The Youth Music funded project has recently concluded with 3 busy and successful days at RML studios, where the young people had the chance to record their songs professionally with Studio manager and producer Ryan Pinson.
The songs are incredible and we look forward to sharing them with the partcipants once they are mixed and mastered. Here’s what some of the participants had to say about the project.
